It’s all about me…
Well where do I start!
My name is Amanda Jane Ross.
I was born in Balclutha, NZ in 1981 and adopted by mum and dad.
We lived in Wanaka, NZ until I was 6 and during that time the peace was broken by the addition of my lil brother John to the family (and I mean the peace was broken literally! That boy could cry I tell ya!). Then we moved to Christchurch, NZ and I started school at Westburn Primary, then went to Burnside High School, then Christchurch Polytechnic and then I got a job and started my working life!
I’m generally a quiet person…. unless I’ve had a few Jim Beams and then watch out cos you won’t shut me up! I love my family and friends and once you’ve gotten to know me you’re my friend for life.
I’m passionate about being creative and have got a few projects on the go – embroidery, mosaics, arty crafty stuff.
I love to read fiction – my authors of choice are Patricia Cornwell, Andy McNab, Chris Ryan, Maeve Binchy etc.
My favourite kind of movies are comedies – and also the thriller and action ones that make you think.
I love all sorts of music – really depends what mood I’m as to what I’ll be listening to. Audioslave, Linkin Park, Kylie Minogue, Corrs, Westlife, The Eagles, Britney Spears, Kanye West etc etc
Lived in NZ my whole life then in February 2009 I moved to the UK to have a big adventure! (and to meet my scottish husband…)
